Requiem for a Bigot

On my blog, there's a virtual graveyard where I bury loudmouthed cure agitators whose formerly high-flying careers have died a sudden and ignominious death... and I give them a suitable eulogy, of course.

Don Imus just dug himself a big ol' grave:

Because he's such a horse's ass, I'm giving him the theme song from "Mr. Ed" for his eulogy:

A ho is a ho, of co', of co'
And no one can talk to no ho, of co'
That is, of co', unless the ho
Is the chief mofo from the Imus Show.

He spewed bigotry all over the radio
Attacking blacks, women, autistics and mo'
For Imus, nothin' was ever too low
Ratings were foremost.

He yakkity yakked a streak and raked in big pay
His bosses stood mute 'til the advertisers had something to say.

A ho is a ho, of co', of co'
And this one wouldn't shut up 'til they canceled his show
Never thought it would be time to go?
Well, listen to this: "Imus, you're toast."

  • A few years ago one of Imus' side-kicks compared the Williams sisters, tennis players, to animals, said they should play with the male tennis players, and said something about how they would be better in National Graphic than a girlie magazine.

Imus laughed and kind of did a, "oh you naughty boy" reaction. There's an audio clip of it on a blog (with lots of foul language) the title of the blog entry was Imus and the Flies.

Good riddence to bad bigots. He's a total dead headed jerk, who drapes himself in "concern for kids." A good portion of the anti-mercury parents are really closet white supremacists, because of the overlap between white supremacy, fear of government control and antivaccine sentiment. Notice how white they are when they meet in large groups for rallies.

  • Gone, Gone, and so insignificant anyway that I had no idea who he was supposed to be at all.

It just goes to show that some who are thought by others to be celebrities do not have anything like the importance that they are supposed to have. Just as well really if he were that much of a bigot.

It's like Bonar Law isn't it, does anyone remember when he was PM?

  • Good riddance to bad rubbish - him and his stupid cowboy hat. His wife
Deirdre was even worse, from what I saw on YouTube.

  • Imus was never anything more than an talentless hack whose great innovation in radio was saying "who's you're Donkey Kong" and having "Moby Worm" eat your high school. Truely the stuff from which legends are made.

Not only is a racist scumbag, he's also a vile anti-semite. See what I mean at

    http://www.adl.org/PresRele/DiRaB_41/5019_41.htm

I especially appreciated how Imus said that "thieving jews" is a redundent expression.

And yes, it's true that Deidre Imus is much, much worse than her husband is. See

    http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0603/21/lkl.01.html

for a transcript of the Imus' on Larry King Live (March 2006). Oh, and she's bought into the whole vaccination scam.
