Commercial Eugenics

Originally posted July 2005

The above title comes from a recent news article that discusses the unholy interplay among the ever-increasing number of genetic disorder labels, the prenatal testing and abortion industries, and society's prejudices against neurological minorities. We are fast approaching the point, if we are not there already, where "normal" becomes an artificial construct that the majority of human beings now living cannot meet.

Of course, there's a shitload of money to be made from such skewed perceptions, as we've seen with the diet industry and its successful campaign to convince most women that their natural body shape is socially unacceptable. It's just one small step from that, in the commercial eugenicists' market strategy, to convincing most parents that their unborn babies' genetic traits are unacceptable.

Could many parents be convinced to have abortions or to pay for embryo screening just to ensure a fashionably tall or thin child? Probably not. But the commercial eugenicists are very well aware, after three decades of routinely exterminating Down Syndrome babies for fun and profit, that the big bad scary words "genetic disorder" will send terrified parents swarming to their clinics and begging for their services. The more they can reframe common genetic differences in the public mind as tragic disorders, the larger their potential market grows.

In the case of autism, which is hereditary, successful marketing of commercial eugenics will require persuading parents who have autistic traits themselves to view these same traits as undesirable in their offspring. In other words—persuading a genetic minority group to commit racial suicide while paying for the privilege. Impossible? I wish it were, but the profits being raked in by peddlers of quack cures for autism strongly suggest otherwise. Concerned parents make easy targets for charlatans who terrify them with dire predictions that they will have an "abnormal" child if they fail to buy the latest product or service.

It's the familiar Big Lie strategy: repeat a lie loudly enough and often enough, and people will start to believe it, no matter how much of a crock of steaming crap it really is. The eugenicists and their partners-in-crime in the quack cure business are regularly issuing alarmist press releases describing autism as an epidemic and comparing it to cancer, and in response, the mass media uncritically regurgitate the autism epidemic hype. What we are witnessing is a sophisticated marketing strategy for a commercially profitable worldwide genocide.

There's no need to build gas chambers when it's possible to convince a targeted minority group to voluntarily visit the abortion clinics en masse and pay (or have their insurance pay) to have their own babies killed. Hitler was a fucking amateur compared to these guys.

For more details of the enormity of the genocide that is being planned, take a look at the
Autism Research and Prenatal Testing website. This is not just some vague future possibility of a few thousand abortions here and there. We're talking about a hundred million people and a time frame of less than ten years.

The ultimate goal of commercial eugenics is to condition parents to believe that having children the old-fashioned way is chancy and irresponsible. Then anyone who wants a family will visit a genetics lab and buy a custom-designed embryo. Natural selection will no longer exist in human evolution; it will be replaced by commercial selection, the deliberate altering of the human species in favor of such traits as easy susceptibility to advertising and to peer pressure generally. When the autistic population, often the most resistant to mass marketing tactics, has been wiped out, the human species will be reduced to billions of bleating consumerist sheep, and that will be the face of normality forever.

The only way to stop this sick scheme is to develop enough racial pride and self-respect so that, when the eugenicists come for our babies, we can tell them to collectively kiss our autistic ass.

  • "Numerous parents are told by doctors, 'We think there is some fault on the 50th chromosome of your child.' A number of polls have shown that people don't understand those odds."
Of course they don't understand; humans only have 46 chromosomes. But on a more serious note, I think that the abortion of disabled babies is the real epidemic. If people knew the real facts about the Autism Spectrum or Down Syndrome or any other condition their children might be born with, they would never believe that killing them is a better option than allowing a child the right to live, learn and be accepted just as they are.

  • ABFH, Aldous Huxley warned the world about this in his book. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_new_world

In the future, people will take something like Soma and I guess they will really say "1 gram and you don't give a damn."

  • Cube Demon, Aldous Huxley was a believer in eugenics himself. Read Brave New World Revisited for yourself if you don't believe me.
